Joe Critchfield had a vision and shared it with his family. He had imagined building an HVAC company that provided the best ways to solve customer comfort problems and improve businesses through engineered solutions. With that vision, Critchfield Mechanical, Inc. (CMI) was born in 1977. Joe created a design-build company because it fit the type of work he loved. Today, his dream lives on with his sons and more than 400 employees.
